DAVID COWIE
David has 22 years of experience in the menswear industry, having started working in a large textile company warehouse during school holidays. A short time later he was given an opportunity to become a sales rep for the company at the age of 20, selling menswear to stores all across the North of England. A few years later a chance meeting with Colin led to us opening Chaplins. We have been retailing branded menswear and supplying wedding suits since 1998.
COLIN SNOW
Colin has over 40 years of experience having started in menswear retail in 1976 at Fosters Menswear, back then we did formal hire under the Dormie brand. I started as a YTS Trainee and worked my way up to management in the early 1980’s. For a while I was a relief manager traveling around many stores in Staffordshire before settling into Hanley and later in Leek. The idea of owning my own business became reality in 1998 when we opened Chaplins.
